A walkthrough of how a decorative metallic epoxy floor is built — from diamond-grind to topcoat.
A premium metallic epoxy floor takes 4–6 days on site. It begins with mechanical diamond grinding of the existing concrete, moisture testing and crack repair — the substrate dictates the finished result more than the resin itself.
A pigmented primer is rolled, followed by the metallic build coat — pigments are hand-worked while wet to create the distinctive cloud and depth. Two coats of a clear polyurethane or polyaspartic topcoat lock the finish in: hard-wearing, chemical-resistant and easy to clean.
The result is a seamless, joint-free floor with the visual depth of polished stone and the durability of an industrial system — ideal for luxury garages, showrooms and hospitality spaces.
